DARLINGTON — Frog legs, a European delicacy, made the jump across the pond and into the mouths of many who attended the 20th Annual Taste of Darlington on Tuesday.

Don and Michelle Adams of Darlington announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Hacelle Haynesworth, to Fredrick Darnell Williams, son of Bishop Harry and Evangeline Williams of Florence. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Sarah Bess of Darlington and the late Hazel Bess, and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Adams of Hartsville. She is a 2004 graduate of Darlington High School and a 2008 graduate of Columbia College with a degree in biology. She is pursuing a nursing degree.

Mr. and Mrs. Terry G. McCutcheon of Florence announce the marriage of their daughter, Kelly Paige McCutcheon, to Graham Trever McKenzie of Turbeville. They were married Saturday, May 10, 2008. The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McCutcheon of Effingham and Mr. and Mrs. Irving D. Packett of Warsaw, Va. She is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Frances O. Beazley of Tappahannock, Va. The groom is the son of Tony McKenzie of Turbeville and the late “Mickie” McKenzie

Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Gilbert Hancock of Lake City announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooks Lauren Hancock, to James Wesley McCutcheon, son of Benjamin and Sandra McCutcheon of Lake City. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Samuel Huggins Sr. of Lake City and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert J.W. Hancock of Lake City. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Francis Marion University and an associate’s degree in nursing.

David and Michelle Tanner of Johnsonville announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacey Michelle Tanner, to Jayson Glenn Steele, son of Robbie and Marie Steele of Scranton. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Fred and Nancy Turner of Effingham and Furman and Diane Tanner of Johnsonville. She is a graduate of Johnsonville High School and is employed by Marshall’s Marine of Lake City. The groom-elect is the grandson of Glenny and Thelma Buddin of Lake City

Nadine Ann DeLucia of Florence and Brandon L. Davis of Timmonsville were married at 3 p.m. April 12, 2008, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Deacon Regi Armstrong performed the ceremony. The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Vincent and Kathleen DeLucia of Florence. She is the granddaughter of Anne Scheftic and the late Paul Scheftic of Syracuse, N.Y., and Joe and Rose DeLucia of Wallingford, Conn. She is employed by McLeod Regional Medical Center.
